With deep roots in Gevrey-Chambertin, the Drouhin-Laroze family brings experience and steadiness to a collection of exceptional vineyards. Their work in the vines is methodical and thoughtful, giving the fruit a clarity that carries straight into the cellar.
The wines combine lifted aromatics with a supple structure, resulting in cuvées that feel classical yet approachable. Elegant and articulate, they speak confidently of Gevrey while retaining a welcoming charm.
Drouhin Laroze was founded in 1850 and has remained in the hands of the same family ever since, steadily growing from a small Gevrey Chambertin holding into an estate with an impressive spread of vineyards across the Côte de Nuits. Each generation has added something to the mosaic, whether new parcels, replantings or a quiet refinement of the house style. The current custodians, Loïc and Caroline Drouhin, have focused on sharpening viticulture and bringing extra precision to their winemaking, without losing the calm, classical feel that has always defined the domaine. It is a house built on continuity, patience and a long, unhurried conversation with its vineyards.
