Domaine Rapet is one of the Hautes-Côtes’ most historic families, crafting wines with a strong sense of heritage and a clear, confident identity. Based in Pernand-Vergelesses, the Rapets farm their vineyards with care and a deep connection to the land, producing wines that are honest, precise and full of character. Their measured approach in the cellar preserves freshness while allowing each site to shine.
Bright fruit, fine mineral tones and a gentle balance are hallmarks of the style. Both whites and reds feel composed and quietly articulate, making Rapet a reliable source of poised, characterful Burgundy from this distinctive corner of the Côte de Beaune.
The Rapet family can trace their presence in Pernand Vergelesses back to 1765, placing them among the region’s oldest documented winegrowers. Over the centuries the estate grew in measured steps, as different generations added vineyards not only in Pernand but also in Aloxe Corton and the surrounding hills of the Hautes Côtes. The modern domaine took clearer shape in the twentieth century, when these holdings were gathered into a more formally structured family business. Today Vincent Rapet and his relatives look after the vines with a blend of long memory and modern technique, keeping the wines firmly aligned with the house’s reputation for clarity and frank, characterful fruit.
