Domaine Dujac occupies a special place in Burgundy, its style shaped by whole-cluster fermentation, organic farming and an instinctive feel for each vineyard. The Seysses family cultivates an approach that favours fragrance and finesse over force.
Perfume, silk and subtle complexity run through the cuvées, giving them an airy depth that feels unique to Dujac. They are wines of poise and intricacy, cherished for their ability to be both ethereal and satisfying.
Domaine Dujac was born in 1967, when Jacques Seysses, then a young winemaker with big ideas, bought the vineyards of Domaine Graillet in Morey Saint Denis. From day one he championed whole cluster fermentation and a perfume driven style that set the wines apart from many of their more muscular neighbours. As the years passed the estate expanded its footprint across the Côte de Nuits, and a new generation, led by Jeremy and Alec Seysses, gradually took on the day to day running. Under their watch the domaine has moved fully to organic farming and continued to refine its light touch in the cellar, carrying Jacques’s original vision into the modern era.
