The Arlaud family brings thoughtful, biodynamic farming to the slopes of Morey-Saint-Denis, nurturing vineyards with meticulous care. Their commitment to low-intervention winemaking allows fruit from each plot to speak with clarity and purpose.

Their wines feel alive and gently textured, with pure red fruit and a flowing sense of movement. Arlaud continues to shine as a domaine that champions honest, expressive Burgundy with real integrity.

The Arlaud story begins in the 1940s, when Joseph Arlaud left Ardèche for Burgundy and, together with his wife Marie, started piecing together vineyards in Morey Saint Denis. What began as a small family venture slowly grew into a proper domaine as new parcels were added and the next generation, led by their son Hervé, took up the reins. The modern chapter arrived when Cyprien, Romain and Bertille Arlaud pushed the estate firmly towards organic and then biodynamic farming, aligning their work with a more environmentally conscious outlook. It is a family history that runs from humble beginnings to a thoughtful, quietly influential modern estate.
