The 2024 Savigny-lès-Beaune Les Lavières 1er Cru does not quite have the complexity of the Chorey-lès-Beaune on the nose. It just needs a bit more horsepower. The palate is better, quite fresh with fine tannins, pretty cranberry and strawberry notes though it is a bit short on the finish. I will be prudent with my score for now.
