The 2024 Chorey-lès-Beaune Village is the usual blend of two lots. It has a much better nose than the Bourgogne Côte d'Or: cranberry and redcurrant, touches of cold black tea. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, pretty red cherry fruit, a pleasant countervailing bitterness and a cohesive finish. Unpretentious.
