The 2024 Nuits Saint-Georges Belle Croix comes from deep soils just below Les Pruliers. This is another that has that wet clayey/potter's wheel tincture on the nose, raspberry to the fore, fine mineralité. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins, a fine line of acidity, again quite light on the finish. Delicious to drink early but it does not possess the substance for long-term ageing.
