The 2024 Puligny-Montrachet Les Referts 1er Cru is more expressive on the nose compared to the La Garenne, hints of white peach and Mirabelle emerging with time. Fine delineation. The palate is fresh and slightly chalky on the entry. This has a bright line of acidity, full of energy and unlike the La Garenne it fans out with class on the finish. Well worth hunting down.
