Gilbert et Christine Felettig, Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru, Les Plantes 2022

There are just two barrels of the 2022 Chambolle-Musigny Les Plantes 1er Cru, Felettig's smallest cuvée, with 100% whole bunches. Those stems are neatly incorporated on the nose and barely noticeable; here, the fruit is a little blacker compared to his other cuvées. The palate is very vibrant with fine, very edgy tannins. It is plush and richer in style, with hints of fig jam toward the lingering finish. One of the most hedonistic from the Domaine this year.
