Domaine Gilbert et Christine Felettig is a gem of Chambolle-Musigny and Vosne-Romanée, quietly crafting wines of remarkable charm and precision. The Felettig family’s approach in the vineyard is thoughtful and exacting, with a clear emphasis on healthy, balanced fruit and sensitive farming. In the cellar, gentle handling and a light touch allow the elegance of their terroirs to shine through.
Perfumed and graceful, Felettig wines deliver red fruit, soft tannins and a gentle vibrancy. They offer an inviting, expressive look at their villages, with a charm that unfolds gradually in the glass.
The Felettig family began as growers in Chambolle Musigny in the mid twentieth century, selling fruit rather than bottling under their own name. It was Gilbert Felettig who first pushed towards estate bottling and gave the domaine a clearer public identity, gradually building a small but well-placed patchwork of vines in Chambolle and neighbouring Vosne Romanée. When his children Christine and Alexandre came on board, they brought a more finely tuned approach to both vineyard work and extraction, lightening the touch without losing substance. The evolution has been gentle rather than dramatic, mirroring the wines themselves, which reveal more detail the longer you spend with them.
