The 2021 Beaune 1er Cru Les Champs-Pimont offers up aromas of plummy fruit and sweet spices, somewhat obscured by youthful reduction. Medium to full-bodied, ample and seamless, it was another wine that was holding its cards close to its chest when I visited, but it appears to possess excellent potential.
