The 2024 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Chenevottes 1er Cru feels just a little one-dimensional compared to the Clos Saint-Jean. The palate is better: taut and fresh, decent density, but it feels denuded of mineralité and terroir expression on the finish. Jury's out at the moment.
