Domaine Robert Chevillon is inseparable from the identity of Nuits-Saint-Georges, producing wines that show both the village’s firmness and its hidden elegance. The family’s attentive approach keeps their cuvées grounded in the character of each parcel.
The wines reveal dark fruit, savoury depth and a measured, slowly unfolding structure. Chevillon offers a timeless expression of Nuits - confident, quietly complex and deeply rooted in place.
The Chevillon family have been cultivating vines in Nuits Saint Georges since the late nineteenth century, steadily building up a portfolio of parcels in many of the village’s best regarded lieux dits. As the twentieth century unfolded, the estate expanded and began to bottle more under its own name, gaining a growing reputation among those who prized classic Nuits. Robert Chevillon and his sons Bertrand and Denis were instrumental in defining the modern style, combining painstaking vineyard work with a firm but fair hand in the cellar. Their long, uninterrupted presence in the village has helped root the domaine deeply in its landscape and traditions.
