The blockbuster 2001 Dalmau boasts a saturated dark ruby/purple color in addition to a gorgeous nose of melted licorice, graphite, blackberries, cassis, and subtle wood. Medium to full-bodied, with stunning concentration, purity, and texture, this beauty is a superb example of a modern-styled Rioja with one foot in the traditions of the past, and one in the future.
