The 2024 Echézeaux Grand Cru has a clean, well-defined nose with raspberry coulis, wild strawberry and iodine scents, perhaps not quite as audacious as the 2023 but a very competent and classy Eche'. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent ripe tannins, layers of mulberry, raspberry and black pepper leading to a satisfying, quite persistent finish. This shakes off the travails of the growing season with class.
