The 2024 Chassagne-Montrachet Morgeot 1er Cru is a step up from the Embazées this year, with more delineation and terroir expression, a touch of white flower and lanolin infusing the malic fruit. The palate is well balanced with crisp acidity. Quite cohesive, full of tension with a composed and slightly creamy finish, this is a lovely Chassagne-Montrachet that grows on you. Delicious.
