Wine Critic Reviews
The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Village is showing very well from bottle, opening in the glass with aromas of raspberries and cherries mingled with hints of raw cocoa, forest floor and woodsmoke. Medium to full-bodied, rich and fleshy, with powdery structuring tannins, succulent acids and an enveloping core of fruit, it has turned out very nicely.

The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Village is just missing the intensity of Drouhin’s other Village Crus on the nose, coming across rather reticent and sultry. The pliant, generous palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and fig-tinged red fruit, although it just misses a little grip on the finish compared to its peers.
