Inama, Bradisismo, IGT 2018

Dusty cherries, blackberries and dried flowers form a darkly alluring bouquet as the 2018 Cabernet Bradisismo unwinds in the glass. This is silky-smooth with a linear feel, mixing red and black fruits, yet energized by brisk acids. It leaves the palate dry with lingering sweet tannins and hints of spice, and it turns floral through the finale with blue and violet shades. The 2018 doesn’t have the depth that I would expect, yet instead comes across as a cool-toned and finessed rendition of Bradisismo. It’s matured in a combination of 50% new and 50% used barrels for 12 months.
