The 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin Village has a slightly less complex bouquet than the Morey Village, pretty but without the same joie-de-vivre. The palate is medium-bodied with a tangy opening, powdery in texture, a dash of white pepper and allspice towards the finish. Fine length. Promising.
