The 2024 Côte-Rôtie Ampodium needs time to open in the glass. Fresh violets, orange blossom and red plum aromas gradually emerge, accompanied by gently elevated spicy tones. Stemmy components add more complexity. Medium-bodied and agile, the 2024 is such a classic, cool-toned Ampodium, yet presenting sufficient overall ripeness and substance. Totally refined and nuanced, the upcoming 2024 fans out with verve.
