The 2022 Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Au Vallon has a lovely nose with rose petal-tinged red cherry and crushed strawberry fruit. There’s more vigor than the regular Hautes-Côtes. The medium-bodied palate is fresh and sapid with fine tension and acidity, finishing with a dab of white pepper. This comes highly recommended.
