The 2024 Pommard Les Pezerolles 1er Cru is a little more backward compared to the Les Epenots, with touches of black cherry intermixed with raspberry and peony. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-boned tannins. I appreciate the symmetry here, quite elegant and definitely endowed with greater mineralité than the previous vintage. Maybe not a long-term prospect but it will be delicious over the next 15 years.
