The 2024 Nuits Saint-Georges Aux Lavières is slightly more savoury on the nose than the Les Charmois, with hints of dried blood and even a touch of mint. Fine delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with quite firm tannins, dark berry fruit mixed with allspice and sage, the finish just showing a little austerity at the moment. Give this a year in bottle.
