Juicy and silky in texture, offering gently sweet raspberry and floral pastille flavors that put on weight with air. The straight Châteauneuf du Pape is a classic effort that offers up notions of blackberry, black raspberry, garrigue and leather in a medium-bodied, fresh and focused package. Made from 70% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 15% Mourvedre, this is classic stuff to drink over the coming 7-8 years.
