The 2019 Nuits Saint-Georges Aux Chaignots 1er Cru has a very refined bouquet of black cherries with touches of cassis and iodine, a little opulent in style. The palate is sweet and chewy, quite grippy in the mouth, and then it clamps down toward the dense finish. I would just like to see a little more grace and charm develop here.
