Performing extremely well, this sleeper of the vintage possesses a deep plum/ruby/purple color as well as a big, sweet nose of camphor, forest floor, barbecue smoke and black currants, good depth and medium to full body. An over-achiever, the 2003 is one of the finest Sirans I have tasted. Drink it over the next 5-6 years.

Fresh red. Cooler aromas of raspberry and flowers. A sweet, fruit-driven Margaux in a rather modern style. The red fruit flavors are joined by oak spice on the finish, which features dusty, somewhat dry-edged tannins.
