The 2018 Savigny-lès-Beaune Les Saucours Blanc, which had been opened two days prior to my visit, offers lilting red apple and fresh pear on the nose. The palate is nicely balanced with a fresh opening of melon and grapefruit, touches of tangy orange peel emerging toward the tightly packed finish.
