A blend of three Premier Crus co-fermented together, the 2024 Morey-Saint-Denis Les Loups 1er Cru has more delineation and complexity than the Village Cru: wild strawberry, rose petal and light bergamot scents. Fine delineation. The palate is well balanced with fine edgy tannins. There is a touch more backbone than the Morey Village though the stems are a little pronounced on the finish for my liking. Hopefully they will be more assimilated by the time of bottling.
