The 2017 Ruchottes-Chambertin Grand Cru offers more red fruit than Mugneret-Gibourg's Ruchottes and is equally well defined and poised, with disarming transparency. The palate offers vibrant, slightly tart red fruit. Quite spicy in the mouth, surfeit with energy and displaying superb structure and grip on the finish. This is a magnificent Ruchottes-Chambertin.
