The 2017 Nuits Saint-Georges Village comes from two different climats, and was matured in one-third new oak. The bouquet is very intense, featuring dark cherry, cassis and subtle iodine aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with chewy tannin, fine grip, good volume for a Village Cru and a grippy, quite dense finish. This will probably peak after most of the bottles have been drunk.
