The 2024 Gevrey-Chambertin Clos Prieur 1er Cru has one of the better bouquets amongst the Domaine's Premier Crus with raspberry, wild strawberry, rose petal and touches of oyster shell. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, fine grip and good backbone here with pleasing sapidity on the finish. Maybe just a bit square-jawed but it should mellow with time in bottle.
