The 2024 Nuits Saint-Georges Clos des Porrets-Saint-Georges 1er Cru has a perfumed bouquet with brambly red fruit, wilted rose petals, fine definition and admirable purity given the growing season. The palate is medium-bodied with a slightly herbaceous opening. There is a strong briny influence here, modest depth though I am seeking more precision on the strict tea leaf finish. Afford this a year or two in bottle.
